Hi all,

Are you familiar with this book? Is it usefull, worth of buying?

Sword in Two Hands: A Full Color Training Guide for the Medieval Longsword Based on Fiore Di Liberi's "Fior Di Battaglia": Brian R. Price

Thanks

Ilpo
Guy has it in his collection. It's not very good. A lot of it reads like an advertisement for Schola St George (I think it is), and some of the other stuff's just plain wrong.

Here's a discussion about it from SFI

you can take a look at it on my office bookshelf any time, and decide for yourself!
Sir, thank you sir.

I am certainly qualified to look all the colourful pictures, maybe you could help to evaluate the contents itself Smile
It's not very useful in my opinion. The images are nice if you want to know what kind of gear Brian Price sells in his shop, but as a training guide it's at worst inadvertently comical. Fun to browse though, it's frequently out at school parties...
Maria, thanks.
