Greg Galistan

Greg is a civil servant who has spent the last twenty years in the military and law enforcement. In that time he has been exposed to several types of combat systems. In 2001 Greg began probing into European style swordsmanship to fulfill his life long love of blades. It was not until 2004 and a fortunate meeting with Chris Blakey that swordsmanship really took off.
PHEMAS was formed shortly thereafter and contact was made with Guy Windsor. Through Guys generous assistance PHEMAS has grown and its affiliation with SESH has solidified. Greg's first love is Fiore and the longsword but he is also actively training in I.33 sword and buckler. Greg is also an avid archer doing both sport and ancient archery and is currently training as a novice horseman.
Chris Blakey
A Television Producer who began to satisfy his life-long swordplay urges in 2003. In 2004, Chris met Greg Galistan and together they decided that if the only way to really learn was to learn seriously. PHEMAS was created in 2004 to gain government and legal acceptance of Historical European Swordsmanship in Asia. Greg made contact with Guy and both Chris and Greg trained privately with Guy's general guidance until 2005 when they bade their wives farewell and spent a long and rewarding month sleeping on the floor of the SESH salle. In January 2006, PHEMAS, with the guidance of SESH, started the first ever formal training of Historical European Swordsmanship in Asia. While Fiore longsword is and always will be the mainstay of Chris' sword pursuits, Chris also enjoys the 'folly of rapier' and is currently studying Capo Ferro.
