Our take on the 11th-14th plays of the second master of the zogho largo. Note that the player's parry in the 14th play has been converted to a pommel strike (to make it more useful for the attacker's practice); the play works just the same.

Our basic drill for practising the breaking of the thrust, the 11th-14th plays of the second master of the zogho largo from the Getty manuscript. This is one of our four foundation drills for the Fiore Longsword syllabus.

Note that the player's parry in the 14th play has been converted to a pommel strike (to make it more useful for the attacker's practice); the play works just the same.
