The four basic drills have set cross-handed variations (where one player is right-handed, the other left-handed). As a general rule, the defender's guard position and first action defines which drill is being done (this is of course entirely arbitrary).

The four basic drills have set cross-handed variations (where one player is right-handed, the other left-handed). As a general rule, the defender's guard position and first action defines which drill is being done (this is of course entirely arbitrary). See:
